In The Community

Dr. Crear enjoys immersing herself in outreach programs and giving back to her community. She contributes to numerous charitable organizations such as OPEN, Dentistry for the Handicap, Dentistry for the Homeless, March of Dimes, Cystic Fibrosis, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Society and several other breast cancer awareness programs. She loves kids and donates to many school programs, and other community programs that provide help to inner city kids. She was a long time member of Jack and Jill of America (a program for children).

Dr. Crear loves her New Orleans Culture. She enjoys dining out in local restaurants, exercising, outdoor activities and traveling. Most of all she enjoys spending time with her two kids Jara and Jobie Crear Jr. Both of her children attended Metairie Park Country Day School from kindergarten through high school; this connection to Country Day inspires Dr. Crear to remain active in that community today.  Dr. Crear’s daughter, Jara, is completing a pediatric Ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and her son Jobie Jr., attends dental school at Columbia University in New York City.  Dr. Crear’s mission in life is to enhance the smile of everyone who walks through her door, from the very young to the very old, and to lift their self-esteem through their smile. She feels everyone should look their best to feel their best.
